Monday Motivation

With all of the stress and fears that are so prevalent, we must remind ourselves of the confidence we have in Christ!

I always like to say,

“Replace the time spent rehearsing your problems with time spent rehearsing His promises.”

Be encouraged by these Scriptures and spiritual thoughts!

Scriptures:

  • Proverbs 3:5 - Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

Psalms 37:4-6 - Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. (Read More...)

Romans 8:28 - And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to [his] purpose.

Proverbs 3:6 - In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Psalms 46:10 - Be still, and know that I [am] God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.

Jeremiah 29:11 - For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

Matthew 6:25 - Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?

Psalms 28:7 - The LORD [is] my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.

Hebrews 13:8 - Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

    Thoughts:

  • “God’s plan for your life far exceeds the circumstances of your day” -unknown

  • “Of one thing I am perfectly sure: God’s story never ends with ashes.” -Elizabeth Elliot

  • “I have a great need for Christ, I have a great Christ for my need.” -Charles Spurgeon

  • “Worrying is carrying tomorrow’s load with today’s strength- carrying two days at once. It is moving into tomorrow ahead of time. Worrying does not empty tomorrow of it’s sorrow, it empties today of its strength.- Corrie Ten Boom
