Only Jesus Satisfies

Let that statement resonate in your mind… a statement we are all pretty familiar with. But do we truly keep this at the forefront of our minds? Jesus being enough does not only relate to major life instances- like Jesus satisfying more than other people can, or more than “stuff”, or more than popularity etc. It’s something we must learn to keep our top priority while going through our day.

It’s so easy to look at not just our life, but also our simple plans for the day and consider and choose things based off of what will make us happy.

Jesus should be first. Jesus is more than enough. Jesus is our daily comfort and peace. Jesus is complete satisfaction.

Each and every day, let that be enough. Let this thought be what motivates you. You have the love of Jesus in your heart. He’s holding you in His hand. He is our peace in this chaotic world. When you are living to seek and to please Him, you will find such joy and pleasure in that. You won’t need to find your purpose or happiness in any other possible thing when you are seeking His face.

He is the only true answer that will satisfy the longing heart. He fills the gaping void we feel. He gives life and purpose to our souls.

It’s when we truly grasp this fact that we find our peace and our purpose.

When we live our daily lives seeking the fulfillment of Christ, we will find it. Walking with God, praising Him, thanking Him for His incredible blessings, and choosing Him above all else will result in a truly satisfied spirit.

When you’re making your decisions each day, consider Jesus first. When you are seeking fulfillment, consider Jesus first. When you are striving to see success and growth today, consider Jesus first.

Only Jesus will satisfy!
